The Khwai Concession is a lush, beautiful place to visit in Botswana anytime between January and April with its verdant green, plentiful rainfall and moderate temperatures, making it the best time for bird watching, seeing newborn wildlife and being one of the least crowded times to be on safari.

April - August

The Khwai Concession in Botswana has dry weather, cooler temperatures and is an ideal place for wildlife viewing from April until August. Game drives will be more predictable and successful since the animals tend to congregate near water sources.

August - October

The Khwai Concession experiences extremely hot, dry conditions and excellent wildlife sightings from August until October when animals congregate around diminishing water sources.

November to March - Wet Season

The Khwai Concession becomes a true paradise from November until March, the wet season, with the births of many new animals, abundant birdlife and very few people on safari.
